About Us: Gardens of Babylon, LLC is a family-owned garden center and landscape design build firm specializing in natural products and services.
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Landscape Designer to join our team. As a Landscape Designer, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of landscape designs related to residential and commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Measurements and Designing: Conduct site measurements and design landscape plans for residential and commercial properties.
- 3D Illustration and Estimating: Work with a 3D illustrator to oversee the completion of 3D flythroughs and complete production notes for accurate installation.
- Client Communication: Communicate with clients to determine the final selection of hardscape materials for the project and follow up with them to keep them informed of the progress.
- Problem-Solving and Quality Control: Identify client objections and ensure we answer all concerns, and visit sites when needed to ensure proper installation of the landscape.
- Project Management: Work with the Operations Manager to ensure project success and provide detailed job descriptions and scopes of work.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in architectural design or a similar field.
- Experience: At least 35 years of experience in landscape design and 1 year of experience in the use of AutoCAD.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift 25 lbs and be fit and healthy to perform required duties.
Work Environment: This is a full-time position located in Nashville, TN.
