Duties

Exercises technical expertise, creativeness, progressive and seasoned judgment; and provides consultant and advisory services to create the strategic business plan. Insures strategic planning evaluation/assessments adequately and effectively address. Develops and manages customer feedback initiatives and systems to document and evaluate results of productivity and quality management programs and installation improvement activities. Performs staff actions/analyses and coordination actions related to all aspects of productivity, quality management. Conducts continuous improvement studies and surveys, and provides advice on matters involving continuous improvement doctrine, methodology and issues.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) analyzing, developing, or monitoring plans, policies, procedures, and guidance for the improvement of the organization 2) making recommendations to management through presentations or written reports. 3) planning, organizing or directing team study work/special projects to support and/or implement recommendations. 4) performing staff projects designed to develop new/improved procedures and processes
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
