We are in search of a proficient Quality Assurance Analyst with a minimum of 4 years of experience to become a part of our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle and demonstrate expertise in various development activities, including programming languages, databases, frameworks, and libraries.

  • Develop, modify, and implement software testing strategies, plans, and documentation.
  • Evaluate software and application functionalities to effectively assess specific feature capabilities.
  • Set up testing environments and execute testing protocols for distributed systems.
  • Work collaboratively with the software development team to identify and resolve issues in production settings.
  • Examine project environments, architecture, and interdependencies to apply suitable testing methodologies.
  • Utilize defect tracking and test case management tools to document testing sets and record outcomes.
  • Engage in informational sessions regarding new feature development and provide constructive feedback.
  • Assist in creating scripts for automated testing of application functionalities.
  • Accurately report task progress to supervisors and ensure completion of work within designated hours.
  • Conduct independent research and collaborate with team members to develop analytical techniques.
  • Adhere to established testing processes and organizational policies.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in software testing.
  • Must possess DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level 2 Certification (Security + CE).
  • Active DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance is required; Top Secret Clearance will be necessary.
  • Experience in a fast-paced web application development environment is preferred.
  • Proficient in various testing protocols and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Capability to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
