We currently have an opportunity for a Director of Retirement Plan Education . The Director of Retirement Plan Education role is a Full time position within the retirement division of HUB New England. This role is hybrid with office, remote and onsite at client locations. Schedule will vary week to week based on needs. This position is an integral part of the organization with core responsibilities of leading a team of educators, developing content, liaison to management and conducting client and participant education sessions both virtually and onsite at client offices.

Specific Duties
  • Manages, retains, attracts, and develops talent which includes:
  • Training the education team
  • Create training program and facilitate execution
  • Shadow team to ensure standards are met
  • Engages in regular performance and development discussions with direct reports, leveraging strengths, providing on-going coaching and feedback.
  • Identifies and resolves strategic challenges.
  • Monitor ongoing industry news for trend and shifts relevant to education of plan participants
  • Liaison with local management on trends, needs and client feedback
  • Develop content in collaboration with national marketing team
  • Enhance or update as needed
  • Plan bi-weekly virtual offering to all clients
  • Conduct client & participant Retirement Plan Education meetings
  • Scheduling of meetings with clients as assigned
  • Respond/Assist/Support plan participants
  • Support of the Sales Team as needed
  • Strong knowledge of client, client contacts and client plans
  • CRM maintenance of all client interactions
  • Special projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • FINRA Licensed (series 65)
  • Strong knowledge of Retirement Plans
  • General knowledge related to financial services, investments and ERISA
  • Management experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Prior experience working with Retirement Plans and Presenting to clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be able to work independently, with some supervision and direction from manager
  • Must possess and demonstrate excellent organizational skills, customer service skills, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Department Account Management & Service

Required Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: Up to 25%

Required Education: High school or equivalent
