A DAY IN THE LIFE
Cohocton offers residents a suburban rural mix feel. Just 20 miles from 1 of the 11 lakes that make up Finger Lakes. Finger Lakes are known for it's breaktaking sceneries and producing excellent wine. Finger Lakes is a must-see. From hiking and biking, to boating and fishing, there's something for everyone to enjoy. There are a number of state parks with beautify scenar including a number of waterfalls.


In this position you'll use your skills and experience to perform scheduled service, fault analysis/troubleshooting, and potential main component or blade work on wind turbines.

During a typical day, you will work at heights and in confined spaces, while being exposed to the elements of weather.

At this site near Cohocton, NY, you will typically have shifts 5 days a week at 8-10 hours a day, but you also will have an on-call rotation schedule for off-work hours (weekends).

The team here normally works in teams of two to three and typically will climb 1-2 turbines a day.

MORE ABOUT YOU

  • You will need a safety-focused mindset
  • Your positive attitude will contribute to your ability to work in a team environment
  • You will bring a LOTO 2 certification withat least 3yrs of extensive repair workon other O&M turbine models/platforms
  • You have performed mechanical, electrical and hydraulicrepair workpertaining tomain component replacements such as gearboxes, main bearings, generators, transformers, and blades in the wind industry
