Leeding Builders Group (LBG) is a New York-based construction manager specializing in open shop commercial, residential and hospitality projects. Founded on a reputation of professionalism and quality, with the financial backing of AECOM, we are one of New York City's premier builders.

Job Description

Leeding Builders Group, a division of AECOM, has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Superintendent to join our group of construction professionals.

  • Assists the project Superintendent and Project Manager by performing a variety of tasks in support of construction activities.
  • Duties may differ depending on the specialty area.
  • Must hold all applicable licenses and/or certificates as required by governmental, regional or project contractual requirements
  • Responsible for and ensures project safety compliance.
  • Must be knowledgeable of applicable safety riders for area of responsibility.
  • Activities may include inspection of engineering installations for compliance with specifications and quality standards, maintaining project documentation, interfacing with other administrative field staff
  • Relies on complete knowledge of procedures, company policies, and business practices to plan and accomplish goals.
  • At this level, incumbents normally handle a wide range of relatively complex protocols; viewed as fully competent within limits of experience.
  • Works under general supervision.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • HSD/GED and 6 years of relevant construction experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Requirements:

  • 6+ years of construction experience from a larger GC.
  • Experience as an Assistant Superintendent.
  • Experience on large high rise construction projects.
  • Experience with complex construction projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • OSHA certification(s).

Additional Information

  • This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.

  • This position does not include relocation.
  • This position is not hybrid or remote.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $33.00/hour - $62.00/hour.
