About the Job Title:
The Sales Ops Manager will collaborate with MarketStar and client leadership while also leading a team of Sales Development Representatives that support our client's global consultancy business. As the US and APAC team leader you must have the ability and initiative to understand critical business needs, analyze issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to identify, enhance, and scale best practices. The Sales Ops Manager owns and manages direct relationships with our client stakeholders while simultaneously overseeing and coaching a team to achieve sales quotas and initiatives.

This team meets at our Salt Lake City Office Monday-Wednesday each week.
Location: Salt Lake City, UT (Hybrid)
What Will You Do?
  • Effectively lead a small team of Sales Development Representatives focused on qualifying leads with the prioritization of preparing and delivering pre-sales Enterprise account briefings for AI, Hybrid Cloud, Business Transformation, and Cybersecurity consulting services.
  • Coach and develop sales representatives to succeed in hitting daily, weekly, and monthly input and output targets
  • Ensure consistent and effective communication by holding regular team meetings/huddles sharing performance expectations and company culture / values
  • Communicate with key client stakeholders daily to ensure alignment on team priorities and campaigns
  • Actively participate in the quarterly quota planning process and apply analytics to ensure optimal coverage models are being used.
  • Implements and manages reports and dashboards in Salesforce ensuring sales reps and leaders have access to key data required to successfully manage the business
  • Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and external intelligence essential to the sales organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
  • Provide strategic guidance to business leaders and support data-based decision making.
  • Partner effectively across various organizations (Finance, BI, IT) to drive manage the team's business.
  • Clearly and simply communicate insights to MarketStar and client business partners, emphasizing clarity, completeness and actionability.
  • Work closely with sales leadership to inspect sales process effectiveness; identify areas of process improvement and optimization.

What Will You Need to Succeed?
  • Highly professional, articulate, and capable of communicating with senior leadership within client ecosystems
  • Operationally minded with ability to organize and prioritize multiple competing priorities
  • Detail-oriented with experience in managing project plans, meeting deadlines, and proactively raising blockers or risks
  • Experience with Salesforce and associated reporting platforms (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Results oriented with a history of driving performance to exceed goals
  • Track record of coaching and developing individual contributors to reach sales targets
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rapid growth environment, where initiatives are fluid and require constant prioritization
  • Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and on multiple initiatives at the same time with a demonstrable record of driving results
  • Can identify problems as well as propose and implement creative data-driven solutions
  • Resourceful, innovative, and are always looking for ways to drive process improvement and act as an agent for change

The pay for this position is $70,000.00 and is paid annually. This pay structure may include a variable bonus component. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role's responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
