Overview

Capital Electric is seeking a proactive, detail oriented & dedicated individual to provide administrative support to our dynamic and growing company. The successful candidate will handle general office tasks and administrative duties, such as directing communications between colleagues and customers, organizing schedules and events, entering data, and maintaining office equipment.

The candidate in this role will also provide a broad range of administrative support activities including event planning, general office oversight such as office supply ordering, mail processing, equipment maintenance, and calendar management.

Duties and Responsibilities

Operates a computer for data entry, report creation, data organization and data retrieval.Create virtual filing system.Liaison to the credit departmentResolves billing and payment discrepanciesComposes business correspondence.Makes copies of correspondence or other printed matter.Miscellaneous projects that include spreadsheet analysis, correspondence development and database reporting.Involved with reporting and data analytics.Other administrative duties, as needed.
qualifications and requirements

High school diploma or equivalentExcellent Excel skills 5+ years experience and/or training preferredAbility to read and interpret documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
