Key Utility Focus Areas include Asset and Work Management, Customer Solutions, Digital, Smart Grid and Energy Trading & Risk Management (ETRM).
Cognizant works with 4 of the top 10 global Oil and Gas firms and with leading investor owned utilities and retailers across the globe. We have a strong focus on ETRM area and are working on critical initiatives to implement ETRM solutions. This area is a high growth area for Cognizant and there is executive focus to continuously improve our offerings and capabilities.
Qualification:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or other relevant field (Required)
Advanced Degree in Business (Preferred).
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in the relevant domain and skills.
- 3+ years in client facing role
- 2+ years hands on experience with Microsoft Azure including Certifications
- Design, Maintain, Develop Dashboards and Reports for cloud services ( Azure Time Series Insights, PowerBI, etc )
- API parsing with ability to read different functions and publish how data gets abstracted
- Proven experience in data platform solutions
- Hands-on working experience with Oil and Gas, or Utilities domain.
- Familiar with IIOT specifications ( i.e. MQTT, AMQP, MIOTY, LORAWAN )
- Data Modelling – supporting ability to comply with specific industry standards ( i.e. CIM, ISO 14224, ProDML, MIMOSA )
- Connectivity – experienced with on premise and cloud environments
- Engineering or Computer Sciences Bachelor's Degree
- Master of Business Administration preferred
- Excellent communication (Verbal and Written) and collaboration skills.
