Role Responsibilities:

We are seeking entry-level engineers who possess a strong enthusiasm for energy efficiency and the technical skills necessary to implement energy-saving initiatives across various facilities. In this capacity, you will engage with building owners, utilities, consultants, and partners to facilitate energy conservation and cost reduction. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collecting building data through site assessments, discussions with stakeholders, photography, and data logging.
  • Conducting energy evaluations, facility assessments, and analyzing essential data to prepare reports that highlight potential energy savings for clients.
  • Reviewing custom energy calculations.
  • Performing detailed energy assessments for diverse commercial and industrial systems, including HVAC, chilled water, industrial refrigeration, and compressed air systems.
  • Measuring and verifying energy savings, conducting data analysis, and preparing reports.
  • Engaging with clients and external parties to gather necessary information for project completion, including meetings, presentations, and both technical and non-technical documentation.

Professional Development:

Within the first three months, you will have:

  • Acquired knowledge of company protocols and procedures.
  • Completed several custom energy assessments.
  • Conducted at least one site evaluation.

By the six-month mark, you will have:

  • Gained a comprehensive understanding of program design and guidelines.
  • Independently completed multiple site evaluations.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Architectural, or Energy Engineering.
  • Strong academic foundation in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and analytical communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for energy efficiency.
  • Willingness to travel nationally up to 50% for client site evaluations and occasional visits to the corporate office.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Energy Engineering.
  • Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) certification.
  • Proficiency in data analysis.

Work Environment:

Positions are available in Chicago, Denver, or Richmond, with options for in-office, remote, or hybrid work arrangements.
