Position Overview
The Senior Product Manager for the Cloud Security and Operations team plays a crucial role in shaping the future of our technology infrastructure. Reporting to the Director of Cloud Security and Operations, you will be responsible for steering the outcomes of our cloud platform engineering initiatives, managing agile product processes, leading a talented team of DevOps engineers, and ensuring alignment with our development and deployment partners.
This position is ideal for a seasoned technology leader ready to influence the transformation of our infrastructure and operational services across the McDonald's ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a critical technology product or suite of products within the DevSecOps domain, defining the product roadmap and strategy.
- Lead a team of technical product managers, fostering innovation and broad influence across the organization.
- Maintain a strategic vision while engaging in hands-on management, collaborating with business leaders and architects to assess the long-term viability of our systems and products.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for the DevSecOps Platform, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Analyze McDonald's existing tools, processes, and standards to inform the evolution of the DevSecOps platform.
- Guide the transformation and standardization efforts for global infrastructure and CI/CD platform requirements.
- Effectively communicate ideas to diverse audiences, including senior leadership, and facilitate constructive discussions to resolve issues.
- Break down complex problems into manageable solutions, applying strong analytical and technical judgment.
- Identify core issues within business processes and understand their implications for projects and teams.
- Eliminate obstacles to empower your teams, encouraging proactive identification of gaps and opportunities.
- Mentor junior technical product managers, enhancing their skills and capabilities.
- Oversee the "Build, Test, Deploy" and "Operate & Manage" functions within our cloud platform engineering.
- Establish standards and best practices for cloud platform operations, focusing on automation and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with New Product Integration (NPI).
- Leadership experience in software development and operations within large, international organizations.
Experience:
- 10+ years in technical product management or related fields, with a Bachelor's degree; or 8+ years of relevant experience with a Master's degree.
- Proven track record in leading technical teams managing significant products or product suites.
- Experience influencing senior executives and managing expectations for major cross-functional initiatives.
