Position Overview

The Senior Associate - Renewable Energy Asset Management is responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of significant renewable energy projects. This role entails:
  • Managing relationships with third-party Operations and Maintenance (O&M) providers and Asset Managers to ensure project performance aligns with established standards and contractual obligations.
  • Administering and ensuring compliance with all project-level agreements, including O&M, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), and Financing Agreements, while delivering timely reports and recommendations to senior management regarding any disputes or compliance issues.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including Managing Members, Tax Equity Investors, and local community members.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to address significant issues impacting assigned assets, such as commercial disputes and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitoring the operational performance of wind and solar facilities, collaborating with operations teams to identify improvement opportunities and ensure timely resolution of significant operational events.
  • Overseeing project-level profit and loss (P&L) activities to confirm that projects meet financial performance expectations.
  • Implementing a consistent management framework across all projects within the assigned portfolio.
  • Identifying and pursuing opportunities to enhance value from existing assets.
  • Providing operational insights to support investment and divestment strategies.
  • Acting as the subject matter expert in operational and commercial discussions related to the operating portfolio, effectively communicating critical information to inform investment decisions.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant commercial or engineering discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience combining technical (engineering, project management) and asset management expertise, primarily within the renewable energy sector.
  • Proven ability to navigate both technical and commercial dimensions of asset management, including effective communication with project-level partners.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams toward optimizing operational performance.
