We are looking for a dynamic Head of Nexthink Ventures to be a key player in implementing our corporate growth strategy. In this role, you will be immersed in our product and the evolving SaaS industry landscape, forging strategic relationships to identify prime M&A opportunities. Your expertise in evaluating potential deals and collaborative approach will drive the expansion of Nexthink. This position offers significant travel opportunities for market understanding and building key connections in the investment community.

Responsibilities:

  • Corporate development initiatives: Implement the M&A strategy defined by the senior executive team by proactively identifying, sourcing, evaluating, and fostering relationships aligned with our growth objectives.
  • Industry and product immersion: Travel extensively to industry events and on-site visits to understand our product offerings, competitive landscape, and emerging trends.
  • Relationship cultivation: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure synergy between M&A initiatives and company goals. Build relationships with investment bankers, venture capitalists, founders, and private equity firms.
  • Inform Product Strategy: Share insights gained from travel and external relationships to contribute to product strategy discussions within the executive team.
  • Present to executives and board: Prepare and present reports and analyses on potential M&A opportunities quarterly to the executive team and board.
  • Process improvement: Contribute to developing and refining corporate development processes, including acquisition diligence and pipeline management.
  • Metrics-driven: Establish KPIs with stakeholders to track the success of corporate development initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience: Demonstrated experience in corporate development within the SaaS B2B sector. Additional experience in strategy consulting, venture capital, or private equity is advantageous.
  • Action-oriented: Ability to execute strategically with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Global Perspective: Understanding of global markets and cultures impacting investment opportunities.
  • Analytical mindset: Critical thinker able to present complex analysis clearly and drive data-backed decision-making.
  • Relationship builder: Strong interpersonal skills to form partnerships and influence others effectively.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with agility.
  • Market affinity: Deep interest in the DEX market and staying updated on industry trends.
  • Collaborative and impartial: Embracing teamwork, listening to diverse perspectives, and maintaining objectivity throughout evaluation processes.
  • Project management expertise: Skilled in leading complex projects, resource allocation, and meeting timelines.
  • Embodies agility: Driven to innovate and challenge the status quo to improve efficiency.
