Job Description

BAE Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Finance Analyst I to join our company

Responsibilities:

  • Able to analyze financial data using advanced MS Excel formulas
  • Able to read proposals, quotes, and purchase orders
  • Able to read schedule outputs
  • Analyze proposals and bill of materials
  • Provide analysis on cost and schedule performance
  • Assist supply chain control account managers with interpretation of financial data, SDRLs, and CDRLs
  • Assist in pricing and maintaining Bill of Material changes as relates to baseline and estimate to complete
  • Understand/Interpret contract changes
  • Communicate abnormalities or variances to project team
  • Work with project team to proactively identify issues affecting project results and profitability
  • Creation and maintenance of internal process documentation and procedures
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • ​​​​Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of work experience
  • Perform price/cost analyses
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in dynamic, fast paced, changing engineering, and manufacturing environments
  • Ability to read purchase orders, manufacturing BOM, requisitions, EORs, and change orders of medium to high complexity
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal customers and suppliers.
  • Ability to perform effectively and independently.
  • Ability to effectively manage job responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Effectively manage timelines, customer requirements and workflow requirements
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience working on DoD proposals and contracts
  • Understand Earned Value Management (EVM) and industry standards and scheduling
  • Possess working knowledge of EVM artifacts such as: Control Account Plans (CAP), Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Organizational Breakdown Structures (OBS), Basis of Estimates (BOE), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and Work Authorization Documents (WAM).
  • Experience with earned value guidelines and understand earned value metrics (Gold Card)
  • Experience with Deltek's Open Plan and Cobra
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel advanced formulas)
  • Working knowledge of Federal and State Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal and State Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)
  • Working knowledge of Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)
  • Understanding prime contract flow down requirements
  • Passion for continuous improvement and lean initiatives
  • Ability to take daily direction but work independently to accomplish tasks
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $74300

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
