ICAT is seeking candidates for the following position. This role is open to being remote.

Large Loss Claims Specialist

What can you expect?

  • The Large Loss Claims Specialist assists with the management and adjustment of large and complex claims.
  • Oversight of ICAT losses in excess of $100K, or smaller complex losses. This includes giving direction and guidance to the independent, TPA, Boulder Claims, and ICAT's issuing companies.

We will count on you to:

  • Generating comprehensive reports on ICAT's large and complex claims
  • Assisting with negotiation or settlement of claims including attendance at mediations, arbitrations, appraisals and other legal hearings and proceedings
  • Adjusting the large or complex claims.
  • Claims Department Administration
  • Provide ICAT training to adjustment companies, building consultants and engineers.
  • Assist with auditing engineers, building consultants, and adjustment companies.
  • Assist with due diligence on prospective experts and adjustment firms.
  • Develop and manage projects.
  • Responsible for defining project scope, resources and achieving deliverables on time and within budget.

What you need to have:

  • 10+ years claims adjusting experience
  • Strong communication, written and verbal needed in this role
  • Solid MS office experience required
  • Travel % required

The applicable base salary range for this role is $77,700 to $165,700.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
