Position OverviewSUMMARY OF ROLE

The Claims Support Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional client service through efficient and precise handling of claims notifications, effective communication, and collaboration with various departments to facilitate claim resolutions.

WORK SCHEDULE

Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 10 AM to 7 PM.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for clients regarding general claims inquiries.
  • Establish and nurture professional relationships with clients by delivering timely and accurate assistance to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure prompt uploading of claim-related documents to prevent delays in the claims process.
  • Allocate new claims to Claims Examiners based on established criteria.
  • Designate suitable vendors for mitigation and specialized services as required.
  • Oversee Field Adjuster Assignments to ensure timely inspections.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficient data entry capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, with a solid understanding of Excel formulas and spreadsheets.
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
  • Capable of working effectively both in a team environment and independently.
  • Exemplary phone etiquette and customer service experience.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

  • A high school diploma is required; an Associate degree is preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATIONS

  • Preferred: Insurance 6-20 License.

JOB NATURE

This position is primarily hybrid remote, requiring in-office attendance for one week each quarter. Candidates must reside within a specified distance from the company's location.
