Job Description

Managing and overseeing payroll processing to ensure accuracy and adherence to deadlinesEntering and maintaining payroll and HR data in HRIS systems across various pay cyclesAnalyzing payroll data for accuracy and compliance with tax regulationsHandling both regular and ad-hoc payroll transactions and adjustmentsCollaborating with HR and Finance teams to reconcile payroll transactions with financial recordsStaying informed about federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulationsSupporting the implementation and upkeep of payroll systems and softwareGenerating and distributing payroll reports to internal departments as requestedProcessing Accounts Payable requests related to payroll, such as garnishments and vendor invoicesManaging all Accounts Payable transactions related to payroll items

The Successful Applicant

Required: College degree specializing in accounting or financePreferred previous experience in automated payroll/HRIS systems, particularly WorkdayPrevious experience as a Payroll Manager, specifically withing the law firm or professional services sectorsIn-depth knowledge of payroll processes, procedures, and regulations, including experience with Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence modulesProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and OutlookAccurate comprehension and follow-through on instructions What's on Offer
