Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs; identify the organization's IT requirements, needs and preferences; implement these systems/solutions accordingly
  • Maintain company hardware and software programs
  • Scan and evaluate the organization's systems to find any risks, vulnerabilities and improvement opportunities; propose and recommend any new software to help the company meet its organizational goals
  • Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management
  • Implement company-wide technology updates and hold sessions to teach employees on new features
  • Oversee all technology operations (e.g. network security) and evaluate them according to established goals
  • Devise and establish IT policies and systems
  • Control budget and report on expenditure
  • Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts
  • Evaluate the company's adherence to federal technology requirements for security
  • Assist with new employee onboarding Qualifications:
    • 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field
    • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
    • Ability to manage time and work remotely
    • Ability to work with a dynamic and fast-moving team
    • Familiarity with Association Management Systems, Event registration systems, and other relevant SAAS applications
    • Experience with both Mac and PC systems
    • Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems
    • Strong ability to effectively communicate among and between both IT professionals and non-IT team members
