The Tactical Solutions Strategic Business Unit delivers mission system solutions, from specialized antennas to electro-optical technologies, to the warfighter. Our systems enhance the performance of various military platforms, from aircraft and land vehicles to ships and satellites, and give warfighters the advantage they need to take action, identify targets and defend against evolving threats.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide manufacturing expertise to teams of engineers and related staff focused on capturing Survivability and Strike programs within the Tactical Systems (TS) business unit, and transitioning them into successful development programs.
  • Develop manufacturing technology concepts, direct innovative manufacturing research, and establish industrial partnerships necessary to effectively compete in Survivability and Strike systems markets.
  • Assess market potential for existing technologies and develop manufacturing and supply chain plans to penetrate new or lateral markets. Plan and execute IRAD projects to develop key manufacturing technologies and capabilities.
  • Aid in development, resourcing, and implementation of five and ten-year strategic plans for Survivability and Strike systems.
  • Be responsible for developing and executing IRAD strategy to develop and mature cutting edge manufacturing technologies that provide a tactical edge to our warfighters.
  • Ensure innovative manufacturing processes are married up with innovative design approaches and rapid prototyping within company procedures and policies.
  • Work with our prime and government customers to ensure technical antenna and electronics manufacturing capabilities keep pace with our prime and government customers objectives to provide the maximum tactical advantage to our warfighters.
  • Develop proposal strategy, including technical presentations, win themes, key points, and pricing. Coordinate all proposal activities, prepare various inputs, and oversee final proposal preparation and delivery.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site five days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.

  • BS/BA in related field plus 8 years or more related experience.
  • Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
  • A current, active Top Secret security clearance is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement new manufacturing lines, including a track record of successfully managing the transition of new manufacturing technologies in developmental hardware.
  • Demonstrated experience of the manufacturing environments from initial design concepts through transition to rate production.
  • Demonstrated excellence in leadership and interpersonal skills in relevant business environments. Influencing, communication and team skills will be critical to successful execution of the duties of the position.
  • Experience with program execution within classified program environments for government or industry preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to both decision makers and technical audiences.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $177750

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
