Job Description

Review customer documentation, including purchase orders, specifications, and engineering designs, to understand customer needs.Participate in audits conducted by customers and third parties, such as ASME and NUPIC.Contribute to the Material Review Board by participating in discussions and decision-making for material reviews.Develop and implement methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating products.Review supplier quality procedures and material test reports to ensure they meet ASME/ANSI standards.Analyze reports and returned products, and recommend corrective actions as needed.Interface with testing teams involved in measuring and testing products.Attend quality meetings with sales, manufacturing, assembly, and shipping teams to address and resolve quality issues.Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, including environmental health and safety.Complete additional company-related tasks as assigned.Conduct evaluations and audits of suppliers.Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, work instructions, and safety and environmental regulations.

The Successful Applicant

Employment Authorization: The legal permission granted to individuals to work in the United States.

Educational Background:Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.Advanced degree preferred.Experience:Over 5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in manufacturing.Preferred experience in aerospace, automotive, or high-volume manufacturing.More than 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.Certifications:Black Belt certification preferred.Lean Methodology knowledge is a plus.Technical Skills:Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
