Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections to ensure adherence to quality specifications and standards.
- Collaborate closely with the construction team to align inspection activities with customer expectations.
- Document and analyze non-conformities, proposing effective solutions to enhance quality processes.
- Verify that all quality documentation is accurately maintained and accessible.
- Foster a culture of quality across all operational areas on site.
- Manage the collection and verification of material certifications and related documentation.
- Engage in audits to uphold quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Monitor and address all quality-related issues and customer feedback diligently.
- Utilize specialized quality systems, tools, and methodologies to perform inspections.
- Work in conjunction with Health & Safety teams to meet compliance objectives.
Qualifications:
- Technical or engineering degree in mechanical or electrical fields.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a site inspection role within quality engineering or quality assurance.
- Familiarity with site safety and quality regulations, alongside a solid understanding of ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.
- Basic knowledge of relevant manufacturing and inspection technologies.
- Ability to commute to the job site regularly.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction site incoming inspections.
- Valid GWO BST certification with at least one year of validity.
- Certification in IRATA or OSHA for working at heights.
Training and Certifications Required:
- GWO Basic Safety Training (including Working at Heights, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, First Aid)
- Emergency Response Training (provided by employer if necessary)
- Hazard Recognition Training (provided by employer if necessary)
- Hazard Communication Training (provided by employer if necessary)
- LOTO Authorized Training (provided by employer if necessary)
- Confined Space Authorized Training (provided by employer if necessary)
