Position: Preschool Assistant for Children with Disabilities Location: Concord, CA Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 2:00pm, (30 hours per week) Compensation: $18/hour Benefits:

The Preschool Assistant works with children ages 0 - 3 years old with developmental delays, behavioral and/or emotional challenges, as well as those on the autism spectrum at our early intervention preschools. The Preschool Assistant work with students in group settings providing activities that help build gross and fine motor skills as well as social and classroom etiquette skills of the children served. The Preschool Assistant works in support of the Lead Teachers of classroom. In addition to hands-on experience working with children in a classroom setting, Preschool Assistants will attend training on a variety of ECE topics - teaching strategies including Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), lesson planning, behavior management, visual supports in the classroom (visual schedules, PECS), communication strategies, etc.
