As our telemedicine division expands to serve patients across New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont, we are in search of a skilled Medical Assistant to enhance our team. Full-time staff members are expected to commit to three 12-hour shifts weekly, including rotating weekends.

Key Responsibilities of a Telemedicine Medical Assistant include:

  • Conducting patient assessments based on the reason for the virtual consultation.
  • Providing detailed assessments to the healthcare provider prior to patient transfer.
  • Coordinating patient care and records with other facility locations as needed.
  • Educating patients on their health concerns, discharge instructions, and addressing any relevant inquiries.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely documentation for staff, insurance providers, and employers.
  • Maintaining patient records for clinical, physician, and billing purposes.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one year of customer service experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, EMT, or LPN is preferred.
  • Experience in patient intake or medical billing is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Experity is a plus, though not mandatory.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Telemedicine is beneficial.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Exemplary judgment, initiative, and interpersonal skills in patient interactions.

Our telemedicine services operate seven days a week from 8 AM to 8 PM. Full-time employees are required to work three 12-hour shifts weekly.
