Job Summary:

Soliant Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support our team in an elementary school setting. This full-time position will involve working with students in a single school location, providing 1:1 therapy, assisting in data collection, and supporting the speech-language pathologist (SLP) in implementing individualized treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 Speech and Language Therapy Sessions: Provide high-quality speech and language therapy sessions to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
  • Assist in Treatment Plan Development: Collaborate with the SLP to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Collect and Document Data: Accurately collect and document data on student progress, including speech and language skills.
  • Support Student Success: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success and provide a positive learning environment.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions and student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Education: B.S. in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field.
  • License/Certification: Valid SLPA license or certification in the state of New Hampshire.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and commitment to maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment.
