Job Description:

At Regions, an Affordable Housing Relationship Manager has a core mission to identify, win, and grow relationships with professional real estate developers and operators who are experienced in Affordable Housing.

Primary Responsibilities

  • In order to best serve Regions clients the AH Relationship Manager should expect monthly contact with clients and prospective clients
  • These engagements should focus on client strategies as well as their project performance and financing needs
  • RAH Relationship Managers are knowledgeable of debt and deposit services, as well as the many governmental programs dedicated to affordable housing
  • Establish sales plans for new and existing clients including cross-selling of Regions various products and services
  • Focus on client servicing, portfolio administration, and identification of new investment and debt opportunities
  • Relationship Manager will be assigned to a specific geographic territory

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

  • College degree required, preferably in Real Estate, Finance, or Economics

Preferences

  • Nine (9) years of affordable housing banking experience
  • Detailed knowledge of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, team-oriented approach to achieving goals and objectives

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Median:

$196,210.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.This role is eligible to participate in a commission incentive plan. Employees have the potential to earn commission based on performance against defined metrics and goals.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
