Job Description Summary

The job responsibilities includes all duties associated with Record Retention, issuing & retrieving specifications to/from manufacturing, reviewing CR packets, assigning approvers, and launching for approval or reject for changes; creating CR training packets, verifying CR JDE maintenance; CR closeouts, logging CR turn times into excel database, monthly metrics, Quarterly Management Review for CR metrics, and typing manual CRs for non-power users.

Job Functions:

  • Scan, sort and file lot histories, mix records and Oven charts.
  • Maintain Record Retention removal binder and complete quarterly PM
  • Implement Record Retention monthly ladder PM
  • Responsible for filing and off-loading of records from Document Control Department (up to 50 lbs. banker boxes) to on-site warehouse and off-site warehouse.
  • Responsible for coordinating the off-loading of records from plant departments to off-site warehouse
  • Retrieve and scan DHRs related to litigation for outside council
  • Record and file lab notebooks
  • Prepare / copy / stamp specifications for issuance.
  • Coordinate the sign-off of issuances to and from manufacturing.
  • Create / revise specifications for manual CRS for non-power users.
  • Review, add approvers, send training, verify maintenance, closure for CRs.
  • Maintain CR turn time database, Record Retention metrics and update Monthly Reports / Quarterly Management Review metrics
  • Other duties as assigned

Additional Job Description:

Physical Demands:

  • Job Placement Analysis to be completed through the Center for Occupational health. Ability to lift for record retention purposes as follows: Waist lift 50 pounds; floor lift 50 pounds, above shoulder life (60") 50 lbs;Push/pull: 100 lbs. Carry (2 hands).

Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Additional Desirable Qualifications Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Master Control
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Power Point)
  • Prior Record Retention / Document Control experience preferred.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus two years' of clerical experience.
