Summary

The Lead Quality Control has daily oversight of an Event Tech warehouse team responsible for the maintenance of required equipment for the purpose of flawless execution of events. This role will be responsible for the operational excellence of a small warehouse team working to provide technical excellence of rental equipment. This position requires strong people leadership, communication, and technical skills.

This position will support our Audio Visual and Event Technology team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Orlando, FL.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Daily oversight of quality control and technical service staff
  • Daily oversight and participation of physical checks of rental equipment to ensure cosmetic and functional excellence
  • Daily oversight and participation of the intake of equipment and prioritize the staging of outbound equipment
  • Daily oversight and participation of the qualification and processing of inbound damaged equipment
  • Oversee a small stock of repair parts, accessories and ancillaries required to return equipment to a rentable state
  • Collaborate and accelerate innovations in QC tooling, practices and execution
  • Assist in training/development of warehouse staff
  • Ensure sound safety and risk policies and procedures through assigned areas
  • Perform regular quality audits to ensure operational excellence
  • Provide recommendations on Capital Expenditure and planning
  • Promote teamwork and communication between all warehouse operations
  • Assists other departments as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience within event production and/or warehouse operations
