  • Lead a team of talented graphic designers to create high-quality visual art.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to the department to ensure that the final production meets the highest standards of quality and creativity.
  • Continually work toward developing and improving the skills of the team.
  • Be a resource and inspiration for the team to consistently develop their technical skills in all the creative platforms, specifically in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Manage all of the visual components of production to maintain the concept's vision.
  • Collaborate with creative leaders to identify and develop art production processes and technologies that meet artists' needs for creating high-quality art.
  • Raise the bar for the project by attaining high quality results from self and team members.
  • Work to specification and to schedule in an existing pipeline, and equally work with minimal instruction if needed.
  • Maintain effective informational flow to the team to ensure the team members are aligned with the project objectives.
  • Provide regular review and feedback on the team's work in a clear and constructive manner.
  • Share knowledge and recommend best practices and educate team members on new skills & methods.
  • Encourage creativity and participation from all team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or Associate's degree in art, design, or related field
  • 10+ years of design experience with examples of work with major brands
  • Positive attitude, the desire and ability to mentor other artist
  • Expert technical proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Essential skills include interpersonal, organizational, creativity, and communication.
  • Strong time management skills
  • Meticulous and goal oriented with an eye for detail.
  • Solid Communication Skills
  • Ability to communicate visually, and to identify and define visual design issues and solutions.
  • Strong conceptual and visual design skills leading to thoughtful creative executions.
  • A portfolio demonstrating the effective use of color, form, lighting, composition, and aesthetics.
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • A genuine team player
