The Opportunity

The Real Estate Transaction Manager will be responsible for tracking and managing global real estate transactions. They will oversee all aspects of the real estate transaction process, engage with key internal and external stakeholders, and ensure that corporate oversight and governance are adhered to. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, be a self-starter, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This position will report directly to the Director of Real Estate Transactions and Brokerage.

This role will be located at Headquarters in Overland Park, KS. This position is hybrid, 3 days in office and 2 days remotely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in management of global real estate transactions which include, market analysis, lease negotiations, lease reviews, AFE approvals, and lease executions.
  • Assist in all aspects of the real estate transaction process, including property acquisitions, preparation of real estate leases and owner property agreements, evaluates dates, contract options, and prepares strategic direction.
  • Engage with key internal stakeholders to support the location of offices/sites in key markets to support our external clients.
  • Ensure that corporate oversight and governance are adhered to and all administrative requirements internal and external are completed for all real estate transactions.
  • Assist with managing and monitoring the progress of the Company portfolio and assessments on renewals, extensions, and terminations.
  • Support portfolio alignment of the Corporate Real Estate strategy, organization's objectives and support an optimized hybrid workplace that promotes the growth and development of our employee-owners.
  • Assist in building and maintaining relationships with external broker partners, supporting the Global Director of Real Estate Transactions and Brokerage in achieving overall real estate goals.

  • Bachelor's degree in design, real estate, construction management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in real estate, or related field.
  • Ability to gain a deep understanding of the business and to connect solutions to business needs.
  • Executive presence that can connect across levels, functions, and regions; strong ability to influence.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Working analytical and financial skills, with the ability to develop and manage budgets and financial models.
  • Highly collaborative approach with clear and thoughtful communications and engagement.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to lead through the unknown.
  • Familiarity with sustainability and environmental issues related to real estate and workplace.
Minimum Qualifications

Requires 4 year degree, or equivalent work experience
