The Medical Director and the Clinical Faculty Member will work at one of the world's most respected centers devoted exclusively to cancer patient care, research, and prevention.

Medical Director Blood Banking and Transfusion Medicine PathologyLead the strategic development and growth of an established program, overseeing and guiding its evolution into a comprehensive and innovative, nationally renowned service Direct a team and work collaboratively with world renowned experts in comprehensive cancer center dedicated to patient care, research, education, and prevention at the No.1 Cancer Center in the nationFurther expand and develop a program dedicated to providing high quality donor and patient transfusion services while also pursuing cutting edge research transitioning the field of transfusion medicineBenefit from extensive backing and collaboration across various departments and divisionsOversee all program processes, from donor collection to the identification and management of transfusion reactions. Required Qualifications
Degree(s): M.D. or M.D., Ph.D. in a field appropriate to faculty role.Board certification in Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology or Clinical Pathology is a requirement. Board specialty certification in Transfusion Medicine

Preferred Qualifications
\u0009Experience: Applicants must have at least 5 years experience as Assistant Professor or equivalent or 10 years experience post clinical degree. Two years experience in directing or supervising an academic transfusion medicine service is preferred.
