About this Role:

The Talent Acquisition Advisor/HR Analyst I, will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the overall efficiency of our HR department. This position will communicate with multiple parties and use strong collaboration skills to uncover needs, develop solutions and solve problems.

This role will leverage our Applicant Tracking System, Dayforce, to streamline our hiring process and help us maintain a competitive edge in recruiting top talent efficiently.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to support our hiring efforts .
  • Create all new job requisitions. Ensure job descriptions are complete, accurate and stored for reference.
  • Schedule interviews with candidates on behalf of recruiters and hiring managers, work through rescheduling issues to ensure interviews are conducted timely.
  • Proactively identify and independently resolve issues as they arise.
  • Participate in candidate sourcing opportunities and employment branding efforts.
  • Communicate collaboratively with applicants, recruiters, new hires, leaders, and others.
  • Ensure candidates have a smooth new hire on-boarding experience by providing exemplary communication and support.
  • Provide regular updates to HR leadership and business leaders on recruiting concerns/opportunities.
  • Champion and promote Windstream as an employer of choice.
  • Work to improve internal recruiting processes and increase efficiencies.
  • Assist with metric reporting and tracking of active and filled requisitions.
  • Respond to ad-hoc inquiries and record-keeping requests.
  • Maintain and update physical and electronic files and records; maintain and update procedural documents, guides, and manuals, supports audits as needed.

Do You Have:

  • Expert level MS Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with SharePoint and Teams.
  • Strong level of comfort working within systems such as an ATS.
  • Previous experience working in recruiting and HR.
  • A natural resourcefulness with the ability to work independently and problem solve.
  • Ability to establish rapport and build relationships with peers, leaders, and candidates.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to provide clear instructions and achieve goals.
  • Strong analytical skills with a desire to learn how to run and build reports, ability to breakdown complex tasks into manageable steps.
  • The ability to self-manage deadlines and prioritize tasks. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Adaptive to changing priorities; able to meet internal and external customer needs, concerns, and priorities.
