A day in the life.

As our Senior Private Client Advisor on the Group Personal Excess (GPEL) Private Client Services team, you'll work closely with individuals and families to ensure they're protected from financial loss. You'll review exposure, recommend coverages, and provide counsel on their most complex risks. With your strong client relationships, you'll expand your book of business through referrals and trusted relationships with centers of influence.

  • Maintain and grow personal small-scale relationships and a book of group personal excess liability business.
  • Develop, grow and maintain the relationship between the firm, sponsoring organizations and participants, with a focus on growth, products and services, for existing accounts and retention.
  • Responsible for "Delivering the Firm" by aligning client strategies and needs to the company's capabilities and resources.
  • Coordinate, recommend and evaluate delivery of solutions and products to ensure alignment with potential and identified requirements, agreements, quality control standards, compliance requirements and established processes.
  • Conduct and analyze research to maintain a comprehensive understanding of personal accounts and coinciding business needs.
  • Identify expansion opportunities for personal accounts leveraging an advanced understanding of internal service and product offerings, market trends and developments and the business standing of specific accounts.
  • Uncover personal risk management reviews when engaged with program participants and direct leads to appropriate resources.
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Claims Advocacy Team and other MMA business units (e.g. Client Service Support, Excess & Surplus).

What you need to have:

  • 5+ years of insurance experience
  • Appropriate Property & Casualty license must be obtained.
  • Flexibility with working extended/off hours during open enrollment period.
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships across the firm and with sponsoring organizations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the management of complex client programs.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $56,430 to $105,420. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
