Position Responsibilities

The Intake Attorney will be tasked with:

  • Managing the intake process for prospective clients.
  • Conducting initial consultations to evaluate potential cases.
  • Reviewing and assessing new cases for approval by senior management.
  • Keeping the executive team informed about new client cases on a daily basis.
  • Overseeing the reception area to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Reviewing completed cases from Intake Specialists for accuracy.
  • Improving intake and reception protocols as necessary.
  • Making follow-up calls to clients who do not qualify for services.
  • Answering incoming calls and gathering necessary information from clients.
  • Ensuring that case management software is updated and maintained daily.
  • Completing all assigned tasks by their respective deadlines.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to leadership discussions.
  • Performing additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited institution.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • At least one year of experience in the intake process.
  • Licensed to practice law in Nevada and in good standing.
  • Possession of a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Strong understanding of legal principles and terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
