Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Virtual

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

SAP is the global market leader for business software and related services, and SAP National Security Services Inc. (SAP NS2) is an independent U.S. subsidiary, offering SAP solutions with specialized levels of security and support to meet the requirements of U.S. national security and critical infrastructure customers.

This position requires access to customer data. Must be a U.S. citizen; SAP NS2 does not offer Visa sponsorships for this role.

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will manage, implement, and support the AWS, Azure & GCP Cloud Infrastructure. This role involves implementing efficient

engineering and operational processes, as well as establishing best practices to continuously enhance operational efficiency within and across teams.


Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • 8+ years of Cloud infrastruture experience
  • In-depth, hands-on experience with at least one leading cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
  • Responsible for installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure issues
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills in cloud network infrastructure, including interconnecting VPCs or VNets within an account and with on-premises networks
  • Manage the utilization and cost of Cloud resources to optimize efficiency and reduce expenses
  • Experience working with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management, respectively.
  • Automating routine tasks using Ansible, and Python for enhanced efficiency
  • Implementing CI/CD pipeline using GitLab to streamline the software development and deployment process
  • Hands-on experience with Linux OS configuration and management
  • Enforce security measures and compliance standards to protect data across various cloud services.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management
  • Advanced experience in large-scale cloud architecture, design, and integration with a focus on automation and networking
  • Experience with managing complex enterprise-grade SFTP solution in a cloud environment
  • Proficiency in multi-cloud environments is highly desirable.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
