Role: Cloud DevOps Engineer
Location: Remote options available; hybrid and in-person arrangements possible.
We are seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to expand our Infrastructure as Code (IaC) capabilities and automate software deployment across a multi-cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and Bash scripting, along with experience in modern build tools and container technologies such as Docker.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and management of our global infrastructure across various cloud service providers (GCP, AWS, Azure, OCI).
- Steer the CI/CD processes for the CIS division at Centripetal, adhering to industry best practices.
- Manage software upgrades for internally maintained applications, including database clusters like Redis and CrateDB.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to enhance our operational efficiency through improved monitoring and analysis of cloud deployments.
- Work closely with the Principal Software Engineering Lead to effectively allocate and oversee DevOps tasks.

Desired Qualifications:
- Strong background in Linux system administration and Bash shell scripting.
- Experience with image building using Packer.
- Expertise in at least one major cloud service provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Familiarity with Terraform and container technologies like Docker.
- Experience in developing monitoring systems utilizing Prometheus and Grafana.
- Ability to work independently with a focus on results and code quality.
- Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible.
- Understanding of networking or cybersecurity fundamentals is advantageous.
- Experience in product development within a startup context is highly valued.
What Your Resume Should Highlight:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Cloud DevOps.
- A B.S. or M.S. in computer science or a related discipline.
