Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented computer science intern to join our team and gain valuable experience in developing and deploying an SAP business technology platform project. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for a student to learn from experienced professionals, contribute to real-world projects, and gain insights into the world of enterprise application development.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with senior developers to understand the requirements of the SAP business technology platform project.
  • Assist in the development of code using ABAP or other relevant programming languages.
  • Learn and apply best practices for SAP development and deployment.
  • Participate in unit and integration testing of developed modules.
  • Assist in the documentation of technical specifications.
  • Stay up to date on the latest SAP technologies and trends.
  • Attend relevant training sessions and workshops (as assigned).
  • Maintain a positive and professional work ethic.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a senior or graduate student working towards a degree in a related field (Finance, Computer Science, or similar) or have graduated within the last 6 months.
  • Deep familiarity with at least one major Cloud Service Provider (CSP), such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Strong understanding of cloud technology and services, including infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), platform-as-a-service (PaaS), and software-as-a-service (SaaS).
  • Proven experience in cloud analysis and optimization, with a track record of identifying cost efficiencies and operational improvements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
  • Familiarity with financial concepts and budgeting processes.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Finops Practitioner, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals) are a plus.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $16.00- $62.00 (USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
