Position Overview

As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Crimson Phoenix, you will play a pivotal role in the engineering and management of cloud systems. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the robustness and efficiency of our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with at least one or two of the major cloud platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, IBM, or Oracle.
  • Conduct system-level integration and testing of various systems and subsystems.
  • Perform system verification and validation to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Define system specifications, design methodologies, integration strategies, and ensure hardware/software compatibility.
  • Oversee the preparation, installation, and maintenance of system components.
  • Analyze and report on system performance post-installation and post-upgrade.
  • Create and update comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies, including VDI and VMware.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Understanding of cloud architectures and services.
  • Experience integrating virtualized applications and application streaming or layering techniques.
  • Knowledge of integrating MS Office and MS Office 365.
  • Ability to develop integration interfaces across JAVA, .NET, C++, and similar programming environments.
  • Experience with continuous integration, test automation, and/or SecDevOps in iterative development projects.
  • Capability to lead and manage a holistic system perspective, including a technical understanding of the relationships, dependencies, and requirements across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid services, as well as infrastructure and security domains.
