Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Events Manager to join our team at SAP NS2. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing strategy, campaign execution, and internal and external event management. As an Events Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing field marketing programs to drive demand and support sales efforts in the U.S. national security and regulated industry sectors as well as internal employee events.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive field marketing plans aligned with business objectives and sales goals.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify key target accounts and create customized marketing strategies.

Campaign Management:

  • Plan, execute, and measure integrated marketing campaigns to generate leads and drive pipeline growth.
  • Utilize various marketing channels, including digital, email, social media, and events, to reach target audiences.

Event Planning and Execution:

  • Organize and manage industry events, trade shows, webinars, and other promotional activities.
  • Coordinate logistics, develop event content, and ensure a seamless experience for participants.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights to optimize future marketing efforts.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, corporate communications, and Customer Success.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and agencies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in field marketing, preferably in the technology or defense sector.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Ability to travel as needed to support field marketing activities.
  • Expected to be in Herndon, VA office on a weekly basis and to support field marketing activities.
