The Role:

We are looking for a self-driven Head of Product, Catalog and Receipt Scanning to set the vision, strategy, and manage the delivery of outcomes for our product catalog, receipt scanning and product matching technologies. You will lead and collaborate with multiple highly-technical, cross-functional teams by defining the product strategy and co-collaborating on technical strategies to achieve company goals. You will manage 2-4 Product Leads, providing high-level guidance to their scoped areas while also directly driving driving areas of your own as needed.

The ideal candidate:

  • Experienced product leader with a track record of designing innovative products and experiences, launching software quickly with high quality, measuring results and achieving business outcomes
  • Experienced technical leader, having led complex software projects, specifically using ML, that pertain to product cataloging, merchandising, taxonomies, and data quality.
  • Experienced manager of high performing product and technology individuals and teams and a desire to mentor, guide and coach
  • Hypothesis and data-driven to inform priorities and decision making, conceive experiments, measure outcomes and improve understanding
  • An effective communicator and collaborator including with engineering, Design/UX, analytics, operational departments and external partners where necessary
  • Able to thrive in uncertainty and comfortable with a high degree of ownership and bias for action; you're a driver rather than a passenger
  • Takes charge and steers the ship by defining your vision, not simply executing previously set priorities

We know we're both succeeding when:

  • Set the mission, vision, and strategy for your initiatives, and collaborate cross-functionally to align stakeholders
  • Immerse yourself in the Fetch consumer and partner needs and become an expert in your subject area
  • Use a combination of product instincts and data to drive decisions and results
  • Collaborate with ML and Data Science leaders on strategies to drive breadth, depth and accuracy of our receipt technologies
  • Collaborate with product and software engineering leaders to define, execute and launch innovative product enhancements
  • Consistently demonstrate clear improvements to user, partner, and business metrics
  • Drive initiatives to elevate the abilities of our product, team, and the overall company
  • Attract and retain top talent to grow your team
  • Get into the DETAILS to ensure we build a world-class product that our consumers and partners love and cannot live without
  • No excuses; take ownership and responsibility for outcomes, and be ready to take action to remediate issues and solve tough problems in a fast-paced environment

At Fetch, we'll give you the tools to feel healthy, happy and secure through:

  • Equity
  • 401k Match: Dollar-for-dollar match up to 4%.
  • Benefits for humans and pets: We offer comprehensive medical, dental and vision plans for everyone including your pets.
  • Continuing Education: Fetch provides ten thousand per year in education reimbursement.
  • Employee Resource Groups: Take part in employee-led groups that are centered around fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace through events, dialogue and advocacy. The ERGs participate in our Inclusion Council with members of executive leadership.
  • Paid Time Off: On top of our flexible PTO, Fetch observes 9 paid holidays, including Juneteenth and Indigenous People's Day, as well as our year-end week-long break.
  • Robust Leave Policies: 20 weeks of paid parental leave for primary caregivers, 14 weeks for secondary caregivers, and a flexible return to work schedule.
  • Calvin Care Cash: Employees who are welcoming new family members will also receive a one time $2,000 incentive to assist employees with covering the cost of childcare, clothing, diapers and much more
  • Hybrid Work Environment: Collaborate with your team in one of our stunning offices in Madison, Birmingham, or Chicago. Or you can work fully remotely from anywhere in the US.
