General Job Description:

  • Providing masterfully planned, engaging lessons to students.
  • Understanding and supporting the learning needs and instructional accommodations for each student.
  • Facilitate learning in a small group environment with positivity and care (class sizes of 6-8 students).
  • Communicating skillfully and consistently with students and their parents.
  • Maintaining communication with the administration and the parents regarding each student's progress.
  • Practicing professionalism through collaborative work, reflection, inquiry, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as an advisor to a grade-level group of 4-5 students.
  • Participate meaningfully in a professional learning community, as well as in grade-level, department, and other meetings. This is an incredible opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of dyslexic learners

    3-5 years of experience are desired. Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
