Position: Early Childhood Music Teacher - Ensemble Performing Arts
Overview
Ensemble Performing Arts is on the lookout for a dynamic and caring music instructor with expertise in early childhood music education. This role involves launching our innovative early childhood program aimed at engaging young learners in the world of music. We seek instructors who are available for in-person teaching.
Ideal candidates will possess a solid musical foundation, demonstrated by a degree in Music Performance or Music Education, along with a genuine passion for teaching. Experience with children aged 3-5 years is essential, and candidates must be able to pass a standard background check. While proficiency in piano and guitar is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement. The selected instructor should be adept at reading, interpreting, and executing lesson plans from a structured curriculum.
The program is set to commence with weekly sessions, with the potential for expansion into additional offerings as demand grows.
Compensation for instructors is based on experience, ranging from $30 to $38 per hour. After a 90-day period, all employees are eligible for a 401(K) plan with employer matching. For group classes, instructors will receive their hourly rate plus an additional $5 per hour starting from the fifth student.
