As we expand our partnerships with schools, we are actively seeking qualified Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our dedicated team.

Our SLPs are essential in delivering exceptional speech and language therapy services to students from preschool through high school.

The SLP will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address students' communication needs, ensuring their full engagement in educational activities.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assessment and Evaluation:
Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Utilize a range of diagnostic tools to accurately determine student requirements.
Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Development:

Create, implement, and modify IEPs or 504 Plans for students with speech and language challenges, ensuring that objectives are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound.


Therapy and Intervention:

Deliver direct therapy services in educational environments, employing evidence-based methodologies to address speech, language, voice, fluency, and related disorders.

Engage students in targeted activities and exercises aimed at improving their communication skills.

Collaboration and Consultation:

Partner closely with educators, families, and other professionals (e.g., occupational therapists, psychologists) to develop comprehensive support strategies for students.

Provide training and guidance to school personnel and families to foster speech and language development.

Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain precise and confidential records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, as well as professional ethical standards.
Professional Development:
Stay informed about the latest research, tools, and techniques in speech-language pathology. Engage in ongoing professional development and apply new insights to practice.
Monitor student progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to support growth and development.
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and team members to provide updates on student progress and collaborate on objectives and strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, session notes, and progress reports.
Flexible part-time, full-time, on-site, and hybrid opportunities are available.
Caseload age range spans from Pre-K to 12th grade.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
Valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
New graduates are welcome; supervision can be provided.
Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of federal and state special education regulations.

Experience working with individuals with diverse learning needs, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, and emotional/behavioral disorders.

Familiarity with Special Education principles and practices.
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, administrators, and other school staff, as well as students' families.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various school locations as required.
Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with best practices in speech therapy and special education.
Bilingual - Spanish language skills are highly valued.
