Commercial Demo and Project Lead - Hybrid

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Demo and Project Lead to join our go-to-market (GTM) team. The ideal candidate will be adept at crafting compelling narratives for product demonstrations, aligning with the overarching GTM strategy, and ensuring a seamless integration into our larger program initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine demo storytelling for the commercial GTM team, utilizing content from launch books and creating engaging scripts that resonate with our commercial customers.
  • Ensure voiceovers for demos are consistent with the GTM storybook narrative, obtaining necessary CELA approvals.
  • Synthesize complex information from Commercial launch books to highlight key customer benefits in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Focus on refining and distilling messaging rather than creating demos from scratch.
  • Collaborate with product managers (PMs) and the GTM team to prioritize features for keynotes and other launch moment events.
  • Serve as a creative director for demo projects, overseeing scriptwriting, production, and post-production efforts in conjunction with the in-house production team.
  • Validate product features and ensure their accurate representation in demo videos and documentation.
  • Identify and differentiate commercial-focused imagery and narratives from consumer-oriented content.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of broad project management experience, preferably in the commercial sector.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft technology stack, including cloud services, Windows, and other commercial products.
  • Familiarity with the commercial sales process and an ability to understand sales strategies at a fundamental level.
  • Exceptional scriptwriting skills and a talent for creating solid demo narratives.
  • Ability to ingest documentation and derive key Commercial customer values
  • Experience creating customer demo documentation
  • Excellent communication abilities, with a strong vocabulary, vision, and passion for Microsoft products.
  • A creative mindset with a knack for business-oriented storytelling.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a drive to achieve results.
  • Ability to engage with senior leadership teams and present ideas effectively to various audience levels.
  • Executive communications skills a must, verbal and written
  • Microsoft experience preferred

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in commercial sales highly valued.
  • A demonstrated passion for the Microsoft product ecosystem and a deep understanding of the commercial audience's needs.

Note: This role does not require a degree. Candidates with a strong passion for Microsoft's commercial technology stack and storytelling will be given preference.

Compensation Range: $86-$110/hour

This compensation range is indicative of the role. Compensation offered is on the basis of evaluation during interview process, the candidates range and depth of experience, business and market financials and internal pay parity.
