Windows is a platform that helps more than 1.4 billion people around the world to achieve more in different aspects of their lives. Whether they use the PC for work, school, home, or more, Windows users depend on our platform to make their daily tasks easier and more efficient.

We are looking for a demo and experiences specialist who is a proven and effective storyteller and can help the Windows Demo & Experiences Team design and deliver innovative and world-class feature-led stories across the Windows ecosystem to our existing and potential users. The right candidate will have creative, technical, and analytical skills with a strong focus on customer-obsessed storytelling. Using these skills, the candidate will find key opportunities within the Windows Commercial category to create experiences that set our brand apart and appeal to the next generation of Windows users.

In this role, you will carefully identify, examine, and demonstrate user journeys through expertly designed demo experiences for commercial needs, developers, and users. You will collaborate closely with other Product Marketing teammates to understand, build, and use critical marketing scenarios to craft demo experiences that help us grow in the market. In this effort, you will help shape and drive the story of Windows for our commercial customers and users to communicate the value of new and exciting experiences in Windows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stay updated on the latest Microsoft products and services and be able to effectively communicate their value to partners.
  • Identify how to scale demo concepts built for consumer and commercial audiences.
  • Determine and execute optimal demo formatting for scaling viewership and use – video formats, scripting strategy, storyboards and concepting, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to think strategically, work effectively in ambiguous situations and respond favorably to change, execute effectively, work under deadline pressure and manage multiple projects.
  • Program/Project Management experience, preferably at a technology company.
  • High proficiency in verbal and written communication including professional presentation skills, able to interact with diverse groups.
  • Previous experience as a product demonstrator, storyteller, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstratable knowledge of Microsoft products and services with a focus on commercial audience
  • Strong familiarity with M365 and other relevant product demo tenant considerations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaboration-driven team.
  • Microsoft experience preferred

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in commercial sales highly valued.
  • A demonstrated passion for the Microsoft product ecosystem and a deep understanding of the commercial audience's needs.

Note: This role does not require a degree. Candidates with a strong passion for Microsoft's commercial technology stack and storytelling will be given preference.
