We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Supply Chain organization as a Distribution Specialist I, to support operations at our commercial Cell Therapy TCF03 El Segundo, CA facility.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, oversee, and participate in the materials management operations and activities to support production operations team and other internal customers
- Manage the day-to-day assignments of warehouse job tasks and monitor completion of required activities
- Receive incoming shipments of non-GMP/GMP materials and equipment following established procedures
- Dispense and kit GMP materials to support production operations
- Prepare and deliver raw materials, samples, finished product, etc. to various departments as needed ensuring proper procedure and temperature range are followed
- Maintain accurate inventory of GMP warehouse materials
- Performing inventory cycle counts
- Perform accurate ERP transactions
- Monitor Kanban area to ensure optimum replenishment of materials
- Communicate inventory discrepancies to warehouse operations team and escalate when appropriate
- Cross-train in all areas of the warehouse operations
- Pick, Pack, and Ship finished product, materials, and equipment as required per established policies and procedures
- Keep warehouse operation clean and inspection ready at all times
- Assist in the revision of area SOP's
- Fork Lift operation
- Additional duties as assigned.
- These duties can be delegated to designated deputies of a satisfactory qualification level as needed.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma and 1+ years' experience in Manufacturing, Biotech or Pharma
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to adhere to all safety procedures at all times
- Knowledgeable of the (cGMP's) current Good Manufacturing Practices, and (GDP) Good Documentation Practices
- Able to lift 25lbs
- Fork lift certification
- Ability to work on off shift hours as needed; weekend shifts
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt in a constantly evolving environment
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership in areas of responsibility
- Excellent collaboration skills and able to work well in a diverse, inclusive, team-based environment
The salary range for this position is: $44, $56, Kite considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
