We are seeking a highly skilled Acquisition Security Specialist to join our team at ManTech International Corporation. As an Acquisition Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting our nation's security by assisting the Government Program Manager with the development and implementation of comprehensive program protection methodologies.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth lifecycle program analysis to identify critical program information (CPI), Critical System Resources (CSR), and their associated vulnerabilities.
- Assist with the identification and implementation of countermeasures to mitigate risks and ensure program security.
- Develop and implement a risk management-based program protection plan and strategy to safeguard sensitive information.
- Provide technical advice and security support to collateral and SAP programs, as well as emerging mission areas.
- Collaborate with the PM, GSSO, and cognizant security authorities to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
- Support customer program protection/security officers in the development, execution, and implementation of Program Protection Planning (PPP).
- Assess threat and risk, develop risk management actions, and implement long-term courses of action to ensure program security.
- Assist in the development and writing of operations security (OPSEC) plans, transition plans, emergency action plans, transportation plans, security CONOPS, and other security documents as needed.
- Review program documentation for public release, ensuring Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) has proper markings, classifications, and distribution statements per Air Force doctrine.
- Prepare and produce analytical products from various resources to provide real-time, tailored support.
- Provide classification guidance and assistance for all security programs, including collateral and SAP programs.
- Write, review, and edit Security Classification Guides (SCG), Exposure Contingency Plans (ECP), Managed Access Plans (MAP), Security Operating Procedures (SOPs), System Test Plans (STP).
- Assist government system security engineers with close-out actions for SAPs as needed.
- Develop and assist with security education and training for personnel, providing technical analysis and OPSEC support to SMC or AFSPC Special programs and other associated operations, missions, and organizational elements.
- Bachelor's degree in a related area or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 4 years related experience with acquisition programs.
- Minimum 2 years with SCI or SAR programs.
- Familiarity with security policy/manuals and the appropriate ICDs/JAFANs/DOD Manuals and other guiding policy documents.
- Extensive knowledge of the DD Form 254 and its incorporation in the Air Force acquisition process.
- Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
- Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.
- Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.
- Willingness to travel with the scope of the Program's Area of Responsibility (AOR).
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel, and industry partners.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision.
