Role Overview:
The Senior Product Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in establishing, implementing, and upholding standards of product management across various delivery streams to ensure excellence in product management practices. This position collaborates extensively with key stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle to define and apply best practices, facilitate learning opportunities for team members, and promote the adoption of these standards. The individual in this role is tasked with driving significant enhancements in product management methodologies to maximize the impact of our product development initiatives in the marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Improvement: Lead the enhancement of product management practices across diverse product teams, implement processes that elevate product management capabilities, and advocate for continuous improvement through innovative strategies.
- Product Readiness: Oversee stakeholder meetings related to commercialization, manage program risks by identifying issues and proposing solutions, and ensure effective communication of product status and accountability.
- Customer Insights: Foster a customer-centric environment by translating customer feedback into actionable strategies, guiding product managers in refining product backlogs, and promoting client-focused value propositions.
- Product Launch Leadership: Direct the development and execution of comprehensive product launch strategies, ensuring all stakeholders are equipped with necessary information for successful product introduction.
- Success Metrics: Define and establish processes to measure product performance through KPIs and analytics, assist product teams in addressing risks, and ensure data-driven decision-making to enhance customer outcomes.
Qualifications:
- A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 7 years in product management or a related field.
- A strong customer-first mindset with the ability to prioritize customer interests in decision-making.
- Experience in Agile methodologies and sprint-based project management.
- Proficiency in standard productivity tools and product management software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in consumer auto financing and managing the product lifecycle.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and customer experience management software.
