BAE Systems in Merrimack, NH is seeking a Program Engineering Manager (PEM) to support the Integrated Survivability Solutions (ISS) product line, in the Countermeasures & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions business area. As an industry leader in EO/IR and RF technologies, ISS is dedicated to advancing multi-platform detection, tracking and defeat of incoming threats to support aircraft, ground vehicle and maritime survivability.
In this role, you will:Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team working state of the art threat detection solutions to include the 2-Color Advanced Warning System (2CAWS) and the AN/AAR-57 Common Missile Warning System (CMWS) productsBe responsible for planning, staffing, budget, schedules, scope management, risk and opportunity management, and team coordinationCollaborate with program management, engineering leadership and customers to understand the customer mission and needsInterface with customers to create opportunities, communicate our solutions, set expectations, and mange scopeManage all engineering activities required to deliver and support critical mission capabilities.Manage, collaborate with and mentor remote teamsWork mainly onsite with the ability to telecommute occasionallyWho you are:You thrive in a collaborative team environment and enjoy hearing differing perspectivesPlanning and organizing are in your DNAYou take pride in delivering quality in everything you doYou are able to distill and clearly communicate complex informationYou drive yourself and your team to close tasks and meet commitmentsPlease note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.Required Education, Experience, & Skills Required Skills and Education:Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science and 10+ years of engineering development experience5+ years of experience leading engineering development effortsExperience leading teams of 15+ engineersExperience managing engineering budgets exceeding $15 millionAt least 5 years direct engineering experience in threat warning technologies (UV and EO/IR capabilities and development) with emphasis on current and future US Army applications.Experience designing, building, testing, and integrating threat warning systems (applied versus theoretical)Experience with project estimation, schedule & resource planning, project execution & tracking and earned value managementExperience with leading/developing engineering proposalsActive Secret or higher security clearance; SAP/SAR eligibleStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience leading cross functional teamsPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills Experience leading teams of 25+ engineersExperience managing engineering budgets exceeding $30 millionFamiliarity with agile development conceptsFamiliarity with model based systems engineeringExperience with all phases of program execution from proposal to sustainmentPay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $239140

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
