We are seeking an Executive Communications Manager to join our global team at Xsolla. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in reinforcing our position as a leader in the global e-commerce landscape within the gaming industry. In this role, you will be responsible for driving our public relations and social media efforts, focusing on supporting and amplifying the presence of our CEO. The Executive Communications Manager, reporting directly to the Director of PR, will be dynamic, adept in public relations, social media management, and executive communication.

As the Executive Communications Manager, you will have significant responsibility for ensuring meticulous follow-up on all communications involving the CEO, whether internal or external, and coordinating with various team members for strategic planning and execution. The chosen candidate will be in the Los Angeles area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Public Relations:
  • Formulate and implement PR plans and strategies in collaboration with the Director of PR, focusing on enhancing the CEO's public profile
  • Manage media relations, including crafting press releases, handling requests, and organizing press events, particularly those involving the CEO
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including consumers, community groups, and investors, to support the CEO's vision and the company's objectives
  • Support developing and managing PR campaigns aligned with the CEO's messaging and the company's goals
  • Coordinate events, fairs, and conferences, ensuring the CEO's agenda and messaging are effectively represented
  • Conduct market research to inform PR strategies, particularly those related to the CEO's public engagement
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure messaging consistency and alignment with the CEO's communication strategy
  • Manage communication during PR crises, providing strategic solutions that support the CEO's perspective
  • Prepare and edit internal and external communications, focusing on articulating the CEO's vision and the company's direction
  • Social Media:
  • Create, publish, and manage content across social media platforms, ensuring alignment with the CEO's communication strategy
  • Monitor social media performance using analytics tools and adapt strategies to maximize the CEO's online impact
  • Engage with online communities and respond to inquiries, echoing the CEO's tone and messaging
  • Stay updated on social media trends and best practices, ensuring the CEO's presence is innovative and impactful
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to synchronize social media activities with broader marketing objectives, focusing on the CEO's vision
  • Develop and execute social media strategies under the guidance of the Director of PR, emphasizing the CEO's digital presence
  • Additional Responsibilities:
  • Ensure meticulous follow-up on every meeting, email, or communication involving the CEO
  • Manage internal communication via emails, announcements, and coordinate external communications like social posts and press releases
  • Collaborate closely with the internal team to create detailed plans and checklists for follow-up actions
  • Work with various team members to prepare detailed plans for initiatives and projects
  • Oversee the process of obtaining approvals for plans and initiatives
  • Regularly review progress and ensure alignment with the CEO's vision and company goals

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, PR, communications, marketing, or a related area of study
  • Proven experience in public relations, social media management, and executive communication
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and analytics tools
  • Creative and strategic thinking abilities tailored to executive communication
  • Strong project and budget management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with an ability to interact effectively with high-level executives
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines per the CEO's schedule
