The Global Service Readiness Engineer – Digital Solutions for Cytiva is responsible for definition and continuous improvement of field service procedures and capabilities related to software products supported by Cytiva, globally.

This position is part of the Global TechOps team located in Marlboro, MA . At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide input to global teams on new product development supportive of Design for Service and Serviceability standards adopted by Cytiva
  • Define and author field procedures and manuals to be utilized by global and regional Field Service teams, as well as support remote and on-site activities including installation, support, and administration.
  • Collaborate with Global Service Training, Qualification Services, Automation & Digital, and Field service teams to ensure customer needs and expectations are both understood and met regarding IoT products supported across all hardware portfolios sold and supported by Cytiva.

The essential requirements of the job are:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technological field with 5-10 years of relevant recent experience in networking administration, IoT or a related field
  • Effective communication skills and willingness to work within diverse project teams
  • Knowledge of networking & firewalls (understand our customer IT needs and work with them to come up with a suitable solution)
  • Windows and Linux based systems troubleshooting (act as level 2 support for customers and internal teams)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Life Science space
